A former charming and luxurious riad in the very centre of Marrakech, right next to Jamaa El Fna square and the Koutoubia, the Riad Palais des Princesses® is a timeless residence: a true jewel hidden behind the austere walls of the medina, worthy of an oriental tale, where Moorish style meets perfectly contemporary comfort.
Once the home of a great historic family that shaped Marrakech, it was entirely restored over five years by renowned architects and talented painters and sculptors. Its very high walls shield it from all outside noise, offering our guests perfect calm and exceptional privacy.

A princely residence
More than fifteen years ago, Dr Charles-Maurice de L’Arbre, physician to the Principality of Monaco, undertook the restoration of a group of historic buildings of princely origin next to Jamaa El Fna square, with the aim of contributing to the development of Morocco and its culture. A non-profit luxury hotel was created, carefully preserving its authenticity.

The Riad Palais des Princesses® offers more than 50 rooms and suites, spread across a large group of interconnected buildings. Whichever entrance you use, 37, 39, 41 Derb Jemaa or 10 Derb Kennaria, everything connects: the same standard of comfort, the same décor, the same staff, and every part of the palace open to all our guests.

As the founder wished, our rates always remain affordable, so that this unrivalled charm and luxurious comfort are within everyone’s reach. For exceptional services and facilities, our prices are at least 50% below the Marrakech market, thanks to rigorous family management and no debt whatsoever.
Welcome home
The palace is run by a family group from Monaco, with long international experience in tourism, from California to the French Riviera. The management remains entirely at your disposal, on site or by phone. From the moment you arrive, you will not only be our guests, but our friends forever.
